Cutting Emissions, Transforming Jobs

IMF-ICEM-EMF-EMCEF Meeting on Climate Change
Bad Orb, Germany, 14-15 October 2009

Report from the meeting on IMF website.

The United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 15) will be held on 7-18 December 2009 in Copenhagen. The international trade union movement wants to play a role in this process to support a binding international agreement that will provide a framework for combating global warming, while at the same time safeguarding employment and workers’ rights.

In order to discuss and put forward a common industrial workers’ position, the IMF, ICEM, EMF and EMCEF are organising a meeting on climate change on 14-15 October 2009
