Crisis in the Czech glass and ceramic industry

A second demonstration of the workers in the Glass and Ceramics industry has taken place in Prague on 2 March, in which 600 people took part. This demonstration was in order to push for changes in social legislation.
The protest action resulted in that the Czech government, two days later, made proposals on amendments to the relevant legislation.
The protests of the Czech glass and ceramics workers against the factory closure have been ongoing for 6 months. About 7,000 jobs are under threat.
